Setting up Eduroam to Connect to Wifi on Other College Campuses

What is eduroam?

Eduroam (education roaming) is the secure, world-wide roaming access service developed for the international research and education community.

Eduroam allows students, researchers and staff from participating institutions to obtain Internet connectivity across campus and when visiting other participating institutions by simply opening their laptop.

If you will like to connect to eduroam using the app, please follow these instructions:

These instructions should be completed while on NCCU network.

1. Navigate to https://cat.eduroam.org/

2. Click the button to download the Pre-configured eduroam connection tool for NC Central University

3. Select NC Central University from the list of schools

4. Download and run the Client Access Tool (if it doesn't auto launch the installer, double click on the downloaded file)

5. Click next to start the installation process (you will be prompted with for members of NCCU only)

6. Login with your NC Central Credentials

7. You will now see eduroam as an option in your available wireless networks
