Submitting A Helpdesk Ticket

A quick how-to guide for customers who want to put in their own ticket requests without calling ETAC.

If you want to submit your own helpdesk ticket, you can!  The easiest way to accomplish this is to go to myEOL.  Sign in using your username and password combo.  Once you've signed in, look in the area marked Administrative & Academic Services, and then click the View All Services button.

 

 

From the next screen, scroll down and click on the Team Dynamix button.

 

 

On the page that opens, click on Submit a Ticket.

 

 

Click Sign In at the top of the page.

 

 

 

Use your NCCU login and password credentials to sign into the portal( e.g. jsmith1@AD.nccu.edu)

 

 

Important: If you have issues signing in, please contact ETAC (919) 530-7676.

As you can see, there are 10 categories in our Service Catalog, some IT related and some that are not, from which you can choose from. For this example, you will want to click Information Technology Services.

 

Within Information Technology, there are 12 categories to choose from. Check out the descriptions for each category to help you decide on which area to click.  For this article, we will use the example that you are experiencing trouble with your laptop computer.  Since that is a hardware item, you would click on Hardware & Devices.

 

There are several subcategories under Hardware & Devices.  To put in a ticket for your laptop, select Desktop Support.

 

On the page that opens, select Request Service.

 

 

A form will appear for you to fill out.  

 

 

Once you complete the required sections of the form, click the Submit button.

 

 

  Don't forget to record your ticket number from the following screen.  You should also receive a copy of your ticket request in your email.
