Open Adobe Acrobat Reader

Adobe Acrobat Reader is pre-installed on university Windows PCs. This version lets you view PDFs but doesn’t include professional features. To access premium tools, request an Adobe Acrobat Pro license using the link above. Once your license is linked to your university email, open the app and sign in to activate it. Follow the steps below to launch Adobe Reader on your PC.

Note: If you are a Mac user, please visit https://www.adobe.com/ and sign in to access the Adobe Acrobat Pro download.

For NCCU Windows PC users:

  1. Locate the Search icon on the taskbar.

Note: If you do not have Adobe Acrobat Reader or Adobe Acrobat installed on your device, visit the Software Center to download Creative Cloud Application.

The Software Center will allow Faculty and Staff install software without the need of administrative elevation 

Sign in to Activate Adobe Acrobat Pro DC license

  1. With Adobe Reader opened, locate and click Sign In.

  1. Enter your NCCU email then select “Continue”.


  2. Select “Company or School Account” and follow prompts to login.

  1. From the subscription window that appears, Select “Upgrade” and wait for the upgrade to finish.

  1. Adobe Acrobat Pro DC will now have all the professional features available for use.
