How do I assign a proxy?

This article provides step-by-step instructions for EPAF Approvers on how to add a proxy in the system. Setting up a proxy allows another authorized user to review and approve EPAFs on your behalf when you are out of the office or unavailable. Approvers can assign multiple proxies for different approval levels to ensure continuous workflow and timely processing of personnel actions.

You can assign a proxy from within Employee Self Service:

  1. Log in to myEOL.
    Under Banner 9, select Employee Self-Service and navigate to the EPAF section from your Employee Dashboard.
  2. Access EPAF Proxy Records from the EPAF Main Menu.Uploaded Image (Thumbnail)
  3. Select the appropriate approval level.
    An approver may serve at multiple approval levels. From the dropdown menu, choose the approval level for which you wish to assign a proxy.Uploaded Image (Thumbnail)
  4. Add a proxy.
    Click the "blue" Add Proxy… button to begin adding a proxy for the selected approval level.Uploaded Image (Thumbnail)
  5. Select a name from the list.
    From the dropdown menu, choose the individual you would like to designate as your proxy.Uploaded Image (Thumbnail)
  6. Submit your selection.
    Once you have selected a name, click Submit. Your proxy will now appear in the Proxy List.Uploaded Image (Thumbnail)
  7. Add additional proxies if needed.
    To assign more proxies, simply click Add Proxy… again and repeat the process.

Tip: It is recommended to communicate with your proxy in advance to ensure they are available and trained.
