Polls and Quizzes are a way to receive engagement from participants during a Zoom meeting. In this article, we will discuss how to create a poll or quiz, open the poll/quiz in a Zoom meeting, and view the results of a completed poll/quiz.
Creating a Poll or Quiz
1. To create a Poll on Zoom Workplace, Select the Surveys tab located in the top menu.

2. Once selected, you will need to use one of the two buttons circled to create a survey or poll.

3. You will then be prompted with the option to set this as a "Survey" or as a "Poll or quiz". For this example, we will select Poll or Quiz.

4. You will now have the ability to create questions and set them in whichever answering format you prefer.
- Options include the following:
- "Single choice"
- "Multiple choice"
- "Matching"
- "Rank order"
- "Short answer"
- "Long answer"
- "Fill in the blank"
- "Rating scale".

5. Once you have created all of the questions and answers for the Poll or Quiz, click the Save button on the top-right corner of the design page.

6. The poll should now be listed under the "Surveys" section and available for use at your next Zoom meeting.

Using a Poll or Quiz in a Meeting
1. To begin a poll, you will need to create a meeting. Polls can be accessed within any meeting that you are a host/ co-host.

2. Within the meeting, click Polls/Quizzes to access your created polls and quizzes.

3. On the "Polls/Quizzes" pop-up, your list of polls and quizzes will appear. Hovering over an option will show the Launch button. Click Launch to open the poll/quiz.

4. With the Poll open, participants will have the opportunity to complete their selections until you click on End poll.

5. Once you have ended the poll, results will be available on your end. If you wish to share the results to the participants, click Share results. Otherwise, you may close the "Polls/quizzes" window and continue your meeting.

6. After the meeting has concluded, you will be able to view results of the poll/quiz by clicking on the graph icon circled below:

7. The results section will show three different views of the results:
a. The overview

b. Results by respondent

c. Results by launch
