Student Recruiting Process
ITS begins recruiting students mid-way through each semester for the next semester. Not all positions are available every semester, but positions that are available will be identified.
Every student must apply through the online application (click here to apply), submit a resume and participate in an interview (telephone interview and in-person interview).
Hiring Process
If hired, student employees must attend a mandatory boot camp before employment begins. Each student is required to attend quarterly meetings and events each semester. If you cannot commit to being present at these trainings/events, you should apply at another time when you are able to attend.
Employment Requirements
The following are the conditions of employment you must agree to meet:
- Must have a 2.5 GPA.
- Must attend the mandatory 2-day kick-off Student Employment Boot Camp.
- Must remain a registered student of NCCU.
- Must be currently enrolled as a sophomore, junior, senior or graduate student.
- Must be able to work scheduled hours.
- Mandatory 48-hour notice for academic-related absences.
- Must be willing to work shifts during exam weeks.
- Must report to work on time or arrange a substitute.
