Open Use Computing Labs
ITS maintains the Open Usage computers on campus for use by NCCU students. These computers are located in the James E. Shepard Library (PCs and Macs) on the first and second floor.

Laptop Loan and Rental
ITS and the James E. Shepard Library work together to provide students with access to computing resources that support academic success.
Available options include:
- Library Laptops – Available for use throughout the James E. Shepard Library at no cost.
- Semester Chromebook Loans – Eligible students may borrow a Chromebook for the duration of the semester.
- Semester Laptop Rentals – Laptops are available to rent for up to one semester for a nominal fee.
Residential Hall Computing Labs
Computer labs are conveniently located in each residence hall, providing students with easy access to technology resources for studying, completing coursework, and other academic needs without leaving their residence.
