Transferring Data to the OneDrive

Tags data OneDrive

We encourage you to move your work data to OneDrive, as opposed to storing files locally on your computer or a network drive

This provides the following benefits:

  • Accessible on any device with an Internet connection
  • Does not require the use of the VPN connection
  • Redundancy (data is backed up and recoverable even if deleted or damaged by ransomware)
  • Effective July 1, 2025, the following storage limits will apply:
    • Faculty & Staff:
      • Allocated Storage: 100GB
Requests for additional storage can be submitted for approval. Increases will be granted based on justification and available resources.
    • Students:
      • Allocated Storage: 10GB
Requests for additional storage will be considered on a case-by-case basis and require approval.
