Convert Google Doc and Save to Submit to Blackboard

  1. Tap File to expand the menu.
  2. Hover over Download as and then select Microsoft Word (.docx).
    Note: Students can also select PDF Document (.pdf) to convert the file to Portable Document Format.


  1. As a result, a message will appear in the lower right corner of the page. The Download Manager will indicate the the download was completed. Tap the SHOW IN FOLDER link at the bottom of the manager.


 

  1. Select the Launcher icon on the desktop.
  2. Tap the Files icon.
  3. Tap Downloads under the “My Files” area.
    1. Drag the file from the Downloads folder to My Drive.

  1. Submit the assignment.

    1. Select Browse My Computer from the Assignment Submission area.


       
    2. Next, a file selection dialog box will appear. Select the document within the My Drive folder and then tap the OPEN button at the bottom.

  1. As a result, the document name will be displayed below in the Attached Files section. If all files are shown, tap the Submit button.

            
             

  1. On the “Review Submission History” page that opens after, verify the completed assignment appears.

Note: When more than one assignment is submitted, click on the file names on the left to verify the file loads and is visible.
