How Do I Get Connected to the Campus Network?

NCCU maintains two campus networks, wired and wireless.

Wired

You can access the NCCU Network with an Ethernet connection from on-campus offices, classrooms, residence halls, and other locations.  If you are experiencing issues with your wired connection in a residential dorm, please submit a request here.
For further wired connection issues, contact ETAC at 919-530-7676 for service.

Wireless

NCCU user accounts are required for student and employees connecting to the wireless network. Click here for instructions for connecting to the wireless network Eagles Soar.

For guests, select the Eagles-Guest SSID and complete the self-registration portal on your web browser.  Self-registration requires having access to a mobile device capable of receiving text messages or email in order to receive your temporary username and password information.

NOTE: Guest wireless access is available for up to 8 hrs of web-only access.
