What is Google Classroom?
Google Classroom is an educational technology tool, also known as 'ed-tech', that connects all of the Google G-Suite, such as Google Docs and Google Slides, for educators and students. This tool also helps educators to avoid using paper because it serves as a digital organizer where classroom materials can be stored and shared with students. Educators are also able to pick and choose the features they want to incorporate.

Who Can Use Google Classroom?
Google Classroom is free for any organization that uses G Suite for Education or G Suite for Nonprofits. Educators and students can access Google Classroom using a Google account provided by their school too. While educators and students in schools are the primary users of Google Classroom, there are also features that administrators, families, and "home-schoolers" can use.
How Do I Set Up My Google Classroom?
Even for first-time users, the basic setup process for Google Classroom is pretty simple. Google Classroom also offers the Google Teacher Center which has several tutorials for getting started -- this is the best route especially if you’re looking for the most up-to-date videos and information. You can also find an assortment of teacher-created DIY tutorials on YouTube that include practical tips and tricks they’ve learned from using the platform.
