Jabber for Android
Cisco Jabber for Android is a collaboration application that provides presence, instant messaging (IM), voice, voice messaging, and video calling capabilities on Android phone devices.
To use Cisco Jabber on your iPhone or iPod, request an account by submitting a request through Help Desk.
Download the App
Setup
1. After installing the App, tap the Cisco Jabber icon and Accept the End User License Agreement
2. Scroll from right to left on the next 2 screens and tap Get Started Now
3. On the Cisco Jabber screen, enter you NCCU username followed by @nccu.edu and tap Continue.
Do not use "AD" with your email address, if it populates.
4. Enter your NCCU password and tap Sign In
***If you are presented with Certificate Not Valid, tap Continue.
They are valid. If you do nt accept them jabber will not come up.
Cisco Jabber is now ready to use on your Android device.
