Reporting an IT Security Incident

If you have witnessed one of the following incidents, make sure you report them by sending an email to security@nccu.edu.

• a loss or theft of devices or media containing sensitive data
• a university web page displaying inappropriate content
• distribution of malicious software on NCCU computers
• potential unauthorized disclosures of sensitive data (data not typically available to the general public)

Make sure to include the following information in your email:

• Your name
• Your phone number
• Type of incident
• Date and time of the incident
• Location of incident
