Launching Cisco Jabber

Jabber software should already come pre-loaded on your desktop and laptop. If not, please contact the Help Desk at 919-530-7676 for assistance.

- Search for Cisco Jabber on your computer.
- Login with your Full NCCU email address – Remove AD, if in the example.
- Tap continue.
- Enter your password.
- Tap Login.
- Accept all certificates when prompted and apply. All are valid- need to activate.
- If you do not accept all certificates jabber will not come up.
- Cisco Jabber will open.

Getting around Cisco Jabber
Cisco Jabber is intuitive and easy to navigate.

Send and Receive Messages
Send a message to a person—Enter the name in the search bar and select the person from the list of contacts.

You can change the fonts and color, send a screen capture, send a file, mention a user, or add an emoticon to your message.
Call and Schedule a Meeting
You can call and meet others using Cisco Jabber, right from your Cisco Jabber app. It’s easy to create meeting spaces if you want to talk or meet with several people. Simply, select the contacts you want to add to your meeting, right-click and select Start meeting.
