Save time transcribing notes from recorded meetings or lectures by using the Microsoft Word 365 transcribing tool. This tool is particularly valuable when dealing with Zoom and Webex meetings that are saved locally on your device and not in the cloud.
1. Open your Microsoft Word 365 which can be found in your MyEOL.
2. Select a Blank Document.
3. Click the arrow next to the Detect icon select the arrow to the right and select Transcribe.

4. Choose Upload Audio.

5. Then locate and open your MP4 video. Once you have uploaded your MP4 video the program will run.

6. The transcription will appear on the right-hand side of your screen.

7. You will be able to edit the text and edit the speaker names. When you are ready, click Add to document. Various options are presented for how your transcription will into the blank document.

8. Finally you will have a transcribed document of your MP4 video. Save your work with an appropriate name for your transcribed recording.
