What is the KnowBe4 Phish Alert Button (PAB)?
The KnowBe4 Phish Alert Button is an easy-to-use feature allows you to quickly report suspicious emails, helping protect both your account and the University.
Each report supports our cybersecurity awareness efforts and also helps improve protections within Microsoft 365, strengthening spam and phishing detection to stop threats before they reach your inbox.
What happens when I use the KnowBe4 Phish Alert Button (PAB)?
Using the “Phish Alert” button helps do more than just flag a suspicious email, it actively strengthens our overall email security. When you report a message, our team reviews it to determine if it’s malicious, and if confirmed, we use that information to improve our defenses.
Over time, this helps our systems better recognize and block similar phishing attempts automatically, reducing the chances of those threats reaching you or others in the future.
What distinguishes the KnowBe4 Phish Alert Button (PAB) from Microsoft’s “Report Message” button?
