Password Management - Change Password Steps

If you know your password but need to change it, follow the steps below:

  1. Visit myaccount.microsoft.com
  2. Sign in using your full NCCU email address and click Next

  1. When prompted, enter your NCCU username and current password

  1. From the My Account menu, select Password from the far left or the Change Password from the Password tile

  1. Follow the prompts on the screen to change your password.

Password Requirements

Make sure that when you are resetting your password you adhere to the following password requirements.

Your Active Directory password must:

  • be at least 8 characters in length,
  • have at least 1 numeric character (0-9),
  • have at least 1 upper case character (A-Z),
  • have at least 1 lower case character (a-z), and
  • not include your username

6. Click the submit button.
