Jabber for iPhone and iPod

Cisco Jabber for iPad Release 9.6.1 provides instant messaging, presence, audio/video calling,

Voicemail, and conference escalations in a single client.

Device Requirements

  • Compatible with iPhone 4*, 4s, 5, 5c, 5s or fifth generation iPod Touch

***Video not supported on iPhone 4***

  • IOS 7.0 or later

Request Access

To use Cisco Jabber on your iPhone or iPod, request an account by submitting a request through Help Desk.

Download the App

Setup

1. After installing the App, tap the Cisco Jabber icon and Accept the End User License Agreement

2. Scroll from right to left on the next 2 screens and tap Get Started Now

3. On the Cisco Jabber screen, enter you NCCU username followed by @nccu.edu and tap Continue

4. Enter your NCCU password and tap Sign In

Note***If you are presented with Certificate Not Valid, tap Continue

5. Click OK on the message Jabber would like Access to Your Contacts

6. Click OK on the Jabber Notifications message

7. Follow the onscreen instructions to begin using Cisco Jabber

Cisco Jabber is now ready to use on you iPhone or iPod
