Banner upgrades and patches received from Ellucian are initially installed in a test Banner environment prior to being installed in production by the EAS team. Clones, which copies data from the production environment to the test environment in addition to periodic backups of table data are also managed by this team. Please note that clones must be scheduled and will replace existing data in the environment that is being cloned from Banner production. Upgrades and new releases for other applications, such as interfaces provided by General Administration are also applied by the EAS team.
