Registration Overrides allows faculty and advisors to grant special permission for students to register for courses they wouldn’t otherwise be eligible to enroll in—such as overriding prerequisites, capacity limits, or time conflicts. This tool is useful when making exceptions for students on a case-by-case basis.

How to Access Registration Overrides
- Log in to myEOL
- Click on Administrative & Academic Service and select Banner 9
- Click on Faculty/Advisor Self-Service
- Under Faculty or Advisor Links, click Registration Overrides

How to Search for a Student and View/Update Their Overrides
STEP 1: Select Term and Enter Student Info
- Choose the correct Term (e.g., Fall 2025).
- Enter either the student’s ID number or their Last Name, First Name.

STEP 2: Click Submit
- Click the Submit button. A list of matching students will appear.
- Find the correct student and click on their Name or ID.

STEP 3: Check for Override Eligibility
- If the student is not eligible for registration overrides, a message will display:
- “There are no instructional assignments available for the selected term.”
STEP 4: Add, Submit, or Remove Overrides
To Add:
- Select an Override and a Course from the dropdown menus, then click Submit.

- You can also click the plus (+) button to add more Override and Course fields.

- To Delete an override: Click the trash can icon next to the override you want to remove.

- Once you're done, click on "Back to ID Selection" to return to the search page.
