Employee Relations

Employee Relations is dedicated to managing and fostering a positive relationship between the university and its employees. Our primary focus is to create a supportive and productive work environment by promoting fair treatment, addressing employee concerns, and ensuring compliance with institutional policies. Key responsibilities include performance management, mediation, compliance oversight, and facilitating clear and effective HR communications.

Training, Organizational Development & Engagement

The Office of Human Resources (OHR) training program is designed to create a service culture that supports North Carolina Central University’s (NCCU) commitment to providing quality service to all of its workforce. The department provides consultation with leadership throughout campus to determine the requirements and expectations of each course or workshop. After consultation, training modules will be customized or designed and delivered to accommodate leadership's expressed needs.
